The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2025 is a computer-animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 61st Disney animated feature film, and a remake of Disney’s 1996 film of the same name, which was in turn based on Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The film tells the story of Quasimodo, a deformed bell-ringer who lives in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Quasimodo is shunned by society because of his appearance, but he finds acceptance from a group of Romani people who live in the cathedral’s bell tower. When the evil archdeacon, Claude Frollo, tries to destroy the Romani people, Quasimodo must confront his own fears and prejudices to save his friends.
