The forum was founded in 2019 by environmental activist David de Rothschild and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. It is held annually in Dallas, Texas, and has featured speakers such as former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State John Kerry, and climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe.
